Product Description
PENNINSU is a kind of rigid, light weight, foamed, durable thermal insulation board based on premium quality Polystyrene (XPS) or polyisocyanate (PIR), it provides insulation for building to maintain the steady temperature, and still can protects the waterproofing membrane from damage.

(1) Water Absorption
According to studies and tests, Feininger XPS insulation boards adsorbs much less water compared to EPS and PU (4 times less) and this is highly important when it comes to refrigerator car.
(2) R-Value Behaviour
XPS foam board is much more durable compared with PU and EPS and it does not lose its properties over time. This is important since it not only increase the efficiency of the system but also decrease the maintenance cost drastically.
XPS insulation board performs with a compressive strength 2 times higher than EPS. In some cases, PU has almost similar compressive strength to XPS but considering other parameters it is regarded a weaker insulation.
Where to apply:
1. Being used with non-grade A fire rating insulation materials, like polystyrene board(EPS), extruded plate(XPS),etc, as fire barrier to improve the fire rating of external thermal insulation system.
2. Being used in external thermal insulation composite system.As product's fiber is perpendicular to substrate, the tensile strength and compression strength of the thermal insulation system is improved.
3. Can be used as core material for sandwich panel and in places that have high demand for fire-proof, water proof, sound insulation etc.

1. Base treatment.

5. Plaster the base layer.
